Backup Exception. VSS Snapshot warning.
When backing up my Server 2008 standard 32bit domain controller running AD, DNS, DHCP and WINS. This server was upgraded from 2003. I get this warning when using Backup Exec 12.5.Exceptions:Backup- \\(ServerName)\System?StateVSS Snapshot warning. File c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\inetinfo.exe is not present on the snapshot. This is not a backexec issue. It has to does with VSS. I have read some other forums and they say it is becasue this file is listed as a systemstate file in the registry. One work around is to create a dummy file of the same name and put it in the system32 folder. Is this an OK solution and will it cause any issues if I need to restore my domain controller?

I have noticed the same error message on my 2008 DC and we have not installed IIS so the file doesn't exist.
